We never expected there would be such interest in his accident, but the local paper caught a lucky shot of what happened. For a couple of days, it will be available at http://www.independentfreepress.com until the next edition gets posted. And what Barbara is referring to when she posted that they recognize Mike at Emerge, is a previous incident when he was chopping wood and axed his ankle. That went swiftly around the Emergency department & staff wanted to see him. How come he can do difficult caving without accident? Thanks for all your comments. Talk about being a trooper! He must have taken tons of pictures and then he headed to the finish line to take more pictures of the runners coming in. Mike, you are truely amazing...and a little bit crazy! I hope you have a speedy recovery and that Santa is good to you this year!
